Thursday  for one day only:

Thursday, May 08 9:30am Ladies development moved from AFLC to SARC (Stronach Aurora Recreation Centre).  If someone isn't linked onto our website via the registration form or by manually entering their name they may be missing the news!  Know anyone like that?  Yes? Welll you better phone them so that another fight doesn't break out. 
Thursday Evenings:

Reminder that next Thursday our new  evening development session begins.  We have a great group and we have a great time 8 pm..no getting home late!  We have a few spots open for anyone  that would like to join in.  Check the info out on our website or email us.

Be in the moment:

Keep on track with your hockey by making it out every week to challenge yourself and de-stress at the same time.  Like meditation, hockey seems to keep you in the present by virtue of its speed; there is no time for any other thoughts.  Being in the present helps to rid our body of some of our unnecessary weekly  tension and baggage build-up if you know what I mean. So do what's best for you and your familiy :  GET OUT AND PLAY!!!!!

 

Hockey and Yoga go hand n hand teaching us to be in the present; with hockey its a byproduct of the quickness of the game leaving no time for worrying about shudda, cudda, wudda and with yoga its the mindful practice of being present that can reset our negative thoughts.  So no excuses...get out for your session and make the world a more positive place.  Coach's orders!!  NAMASTE
